• This series was a collaboration with water and Arches paper, and it required stillness and steady breathing to achieve. The watercolor would pool on top of the paper and dry in the sun, leaving unexpected traces of pigment.

    I was drawn to the touches and overlaps of pools, which they formed partly on their own.
